1.First, we have knitting. I don’t know about you, but sewing and knitting and anything of the sort I am a huge fail. Just look at this crafty gal with her DIY knitting skills for her April 2017 wedding at The Barn at Harvest Moon Pond. She KNITTED these shawls for her gals. AND…KNITTED adorable Mr. and Mrs. socks.
2. This couple put a unique touch on the reception decor . They love travel and travel photography, so they got crafty with globes and maps and vintage cameras. Pretty fun! Thanks to Noah’s Event Venue for hosting a wow reception with personal touches. The guest book is a globe to sign! How unique and DIY is that? And for charity no less.
3. For this wedding I went UP NORTH. They were married in the UP of Michigan, and the reception was in Presque Isle, WI, the last wilderness. These folks now how to DYI. Her parents lake was used as the wedding ceremony. The deserts were homemade. The decor was the best northwoods themed do it yourself ever! And to top it off, the drink cooler was a canoe. Yep take me back to da northwoods der eh!
4. Do it yourself hair and make up and flowers bring us to this July 2017 wedding at Tumbled Down Barns in Verona. Look at how perfect she did her hair! Mad DIY skills are going on here. What’s more awesome that DIY Bride’s? The generous neighbors and grandmothers who did the wedding flowers is the most special and memorable.
