Kara and Greg are Engaged! – A Baraboo Wisconsin hike at Parfrey’s Glen
Kara and Greg love the outdoors and hiking. So naturally we headed north to Baraboo to Parfrey’s Glen State Natural Area. This gem is near Devil’s Lake State Park. Kara and Greg had never hiked at Parfrey’s so they were in for a treat. I love how adventurous they are with willing to cross the stream or climb boulders and downed trees with no hesitation. The effort paid off with amazing views and a waterfall at the end of the trail. We got muddy a bit wet and had a blast exploring this amazing little canyon.
We encountered several hikers on that day. You would never know it, because folks are amazing! Each time we set up a shot, people would graciously move or ask if they should move. Gotta love Baraboo!
One of my favorites is the wide shot of what I call “little people in a big world.” It really looks as if they are alone in this massive wilderness. How cool is that?
They are getting married in May in Lincolnshire, Illinois. We are hoping for a lovely spring day with some new areas to explore dressed up in their wedding best.
Aren’t they the cutest? So in love and so much to explore together.
See you in the spring Kara and Greg!
